Redneck Easel

What do you do if you're painting outside and you don't have a seat, taboret, or easel?  You get some ladders.

Pig Maquette

Here is one of the shots of the pig maquette I used for the three pigs painting. Natural light is almost always the best for lighting an outdoor scene. Note the blue reflection of the sky in the upwards facing planes in shadow as well as the warm reflections of the ground in the downward planes.
